Cursed Humans

He shrieked, a high-pitched, girlish sound. The black fire twisted around him, and he flinched before realizing it wasn't touching him. And then he saw the girl he thought he loved, burning and dying in the middle of it. Her skin was sloughing off like a snake's, and there was a look of immense pain on her face. He turned around to face the tall woman, the fox, standing behind him. "How dare you?? How dare you hurt an immortal like her!?" The kitsune laughed, fire spiraling around her hands and feet and hundreds of tails. "An immortal? Her? That's a laugh! And if you're as wonderful with fire as you said you were, and you can control black fire as you brag to, why don't you save her?" Her green eyes sparkled with malice and hate, though she looked as kind and gentle as she always did otherwise. Her silver hair looked like fire in itself, though that was just an affect of the wind gusting around them.

He hung his head, knowing she had called his bluff, and started to cry. "Please, please! I'll do anything, just stop hurting her!!" The kitsune was suddenly behind him, and she laid her hands on his shoulders suggestively. "Anything?" The man nodded and the fox smiled. The fire stopped, and the wind was replaced by a rainbow-coloured blaze. "Anything. You two are my slaves now." She bit him, hard, her teeth sinking into his neck. He collapsed with a scream and the kitsune repeated the movement on the girl, whose skin was back in place. When they touched their necks, they found collars made of purple leather, studded with small gold bells, around their necks. The tall kitsune grinned like a madwoman, and suddenly their bodies exploded in pain, and they found themselves as small, red foxes. "Should you ever disobey me or disgrace me, you cursed humans, this is what happens."
